Principal Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Business Analyst/DBA

• Handling the DaX’s Utilization Reporting
• Customized customer reporting on performance for DaX
• Working with the DOEs and Labor Management-DaX on outlier issues/concerns on a weekly basis
• DAXOM Db management on Linux Server
• Performance tuning of Database system
• Monitor schedule backups and issue rectification.
• Install, upgrade and manage Database applications
• Database refresh, diagnose and Troubleshoot errors
• Manage Db access
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
• Hand on experience on Power BI

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor degree in computer science or related field, 4+Years of experience in Database administration, Database architecture, Experienced with Linux and Window server environments, expensive experience with database Technologies – Oracle, Experience with Microsoft Azure a plus, Basic Knowledge of Power BI development.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst  or Data Analyst
• Experience in data mining
• Experience using business intelligence tools  Power BI
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong command of Oracle and Oracle server tools, SQL knowledge an added advantage
• Powershell and Unix Shell scripting skills
• Advance knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
